Beyond Platforms: Growing & Sustaining Technical Commons for Collective Action
As a continuation of our Common Infrastructure for Collective Action salon series, Salon 2 invites leaders, technologists, practitioners, and systems stewards to explore the technical infrastructures that enable sustained coordination. Building on our first gathering’s focus on social foundations, this session turns to the shared systems that help networks move beyond connection toward greater coherence, transparency, and resilience.

From Connection to Coordination: Social Foundations of Collective Action
Join Open Future Coalition for our emergent three-part virtual salon series - Common Infrastructure for Collective Action - designed to bring together diverse leaders and organizations shaping the landscape of collective action. These gatherings will showcase promising efforts already underway while creating space for cross-sector dialogue, shared sensemaking, and practical exploration of how common infrastructure can strengthen movements and enable greater cooperation across fields.
Our first salon in the series, "From Connection to Coordination: Social Foundations of Collective Action"— is an invitation to connect, cross-pollinate, and co-create the social systems that sustain just and thriving futures.
