This invitation-only summit, hosted in partnership with the Human Values Center, Open Future Coalition, Wellbeing Economy Alliance California, the City of Pomona, and Liberty Hill Foundation, brings together CBOs, grassroots leaders, local institutions, and public officials to:
Identify shared priorities across LA County
Highlight community-led solutions and breakthrough strategies
Address ongoing challenges and systemic gaps
Co-vision actionable pathways forward
Build relationships and partnerships that last beyond the event

Ana Gonzalez
Ana Gonzalez is a passionate community advocate and the Executive Director of the Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice, where she leads efforts for clean air and water in marginalized communities. A proud mother and community organizer, Ana’s dedication to social justice and environmental equity was recognized when she was honored as the California Woman of the Year in 2025.

Carla Marie Munoz
Tribal Councilwoman of the Costanoan Rumsen Carmel Tribe
Carla has served as a tribal liaison for her people for the past nine years, creating relationships between state parks, government agencies and other tribal communities. She is focused on creating space for ceremonies, land restoration, as well as tribal recognition. Carla is dedicated to working with tribal youth to restore traditional knowledge and bring tangible culture.

A lifelong organizer and advocate, Ely brings over two decades of experience in youth development, civic engagement, and community power building, rooted in his journey from system-impacted youth to seasoned movement leader.

Co-Founder, Civic Wellbeing Partners
Through Civic Wellbeing Partners, Julie works to spread wellbeing, civic engagement, and collective impact practices. Serving in various local government and nonprofit leadership positions, she pioneered Santa Monica’s award-winning local wellbeing framework and index. Julie has worked with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; served as a Senior Fellow with UCLA’s Center for Healthier Children, Families, and Communities; and currently Co-Chair’s the Santa Monica Human Relations Council.

As part of the Summit experience, the Southern California Collective Wellbeing Initiative has secured a high-visibility, high-traffic location at the Farm at Fairplex during the Los Angeles County Fair- May 15-18, 2025.
With approximately 750,000 attendees annually, this is a prime opportunity for our curated local organizations, institutions, and artists to meaningfully engage with the public, while promoting initiatives that advance collective wellbeing, community resilience, and ecological stewardship in Los Angeles County and throughout Southern California. Through out the Fair we will be gathering stories of place and insights from community members sharing their experiences, priorities, and hopes for a thriving future.
